Pranayam.... The Breath Of Life

Pranayam .... The Breath Of Life: Breathing - Are you doing it? Or is it just happening? Find out, give it a pause and look. When thought or emotion ( senstized thoughts) do not come in the way of breathing, what is left is Pure Natural Breath which does not belong to you. It is the Universe itself breathing in this body. It is the very breath of the absolute. In Pranayam we are taught to force breathing one way or other but the real Pranayam happens when the "Prana" is left to it's own "Aayam" meaning . Leave Prana - The very foundation of the life force to it's own Dimensionless movement. It has it's rythm, it's own beating and throbbing, like ocean swelling up, like tide coming in and going out of it's own accord smashing against this rock body and at times sinking it into it's rythmic depths of Natural calm. Pranayam is not something you do. Infact it is the natural rythm of universe when all the noise of mind has fa...

Geographical and religious identities are merely imaginary lines created by human beings, one on land and other in the mind. Historically these lines have never been stable they keep shifting and changing. The identification of an individual to any country religion ideology or group is a desperate attempt to maintain its identity.  The very thought of losing one's identity is so fearful to an individual that he can go to any lengths to maintain it,even kill or get killed. What is Yoga?

The notion of individuality is intrinsic to our view of the world. In absence of this notion the world as we know it, disappears. Individuality is very dear to us yet, it is the source of our everyday conflict.  We crave for peace and yet, we are in continuous conflict with the world, a world which unknown to us has actually been created by us. However, the contours of this whole journey are created and embedded in the recesses of the mind. The notion of this journey begins in the mind and it ends with the mind. The word  Yoga  literally indicates a union, assuming that there is an individual ...
